Small Groups

Specially curated groups for men, women, and youth that focus on the study of God’s word and the fellowship of his people. The purpose of these groups is to bring brothers and sisters in Christ together outside of the Sunday morning worship service.

Women

GRACE.  ENCOURAGEMENT.  MENTORSHIP.

We are women of faith, empowered by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone by the authority of Scripture alone to the glory of God alone!

Our ministry is based on Titus 2:3-5. Far from being a women’s social club, it is Christ-centered, focused on teaching and training in God's Word.  Second, our women's ministry is about mutual encouragement and support for one another.  And thirdly, it is for coming alongside the next generation of women to nurture them in the above areas.

We meet every other Wednesday at 7:00 PM during the school year. Please contact Laurie Chesnutt for details.

MEN

MEN OF IRON, MEN OF CLAY

"Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another." - Proverbs 27:17

We are ever being sharpened as iron, and ever molded as clay. So in our men's ministry, one of the ways we strengthen one another is holding one another accountable to being malleable in the Lord's hands, and to remind one another of the gospel; when we are weak, He is strong!

Men’s Group also meets every other Wednesday during the school year. Please contact John Pennington, Jr. for details.

Youth Group (6th - 12th Grade)

“Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” - 1 Timothy 4:12

The goals of our youth ministry include helping young Christians to regard the world and their circumstances from a biblical perspective; to encourage them to live their lives with a biblical and Christ-centered worldview; to equip them to lift up the name of Jesus Christ in every area of their lives; and to have some fun while we do it!

Large group meetings during the school year happen on Saturdays, with social/fun outings offered other weekends. Please contact Phil Leonardi for details.

Community Group

Our Community Group meets during the school year on Sunday afternoons at the Golt’s house in Clayton. Everyone in the church is invited, with individuals, couples, and families all encouraged to attend and participate.
